If you want a sure bet, pick up some Sanyo Oscon caps.
These are superior quality organic polymer electrolytics: High temp,
very low ESR, very long life...tantalum replacement grade and come in a
wide range of values.
They sound great for audio coupling too.
Check the Sanyo site for specs. Real high grade parts.
They can be found on ebay from Asian distributors and sometimes from US
surplus dealers...no idea where to buy at retail.
This is what I used. Pretty much the best you can get in a wide range of
values.
Watch out for lead size though. I bought some 15uF on the 'bay and the
dang leads were too thick to fit through the PCB holes.
