If it stays in this position with power off then it is likely a mechanical problem. I have seen static electricity cause this but a wipe with a "Bounce" dryer tissue will cure this. Otherwise, it is meter replacement time.

In some cases with great diligence and patience and extreme care the pivots can be cleaned and adjusted. Unless you have a good deal of prior experience working inside meters, or devices like mechanical watches, it is suggested you not try it unless you have a spare meter handy for replacement when the one you are working on is destroyed beyond repair.

The meter needle on Peg's Omni V is stuck on about S5. Is there any fix to these or is it new meter time?

Thanks
