Yes, it confirms and then over the next few days it actually seem that my email traffic increases from Ten Tec.

At the risk of asking a silly question -- when you follow that URL and type
in your email address and password and select that you want to unsubscribe
from the list, do you get a confirmation email back saying that you indeed
have been unsubscribed?

I ask because some folks either don't recall their password or they are
unsubscribing the wrong address -- that hapens often. Getting "stuck" in the
subscribe mode is much more rare.
