Wayne, My Omni VII came with the Owner's Manual second release - August 2007. On its page 18, in describing the DC IN connector, it says, "The supply voltage can range from +12.8 to +15.0 Vdc but +13.8 Vdc is the optimum value." One of my reasons for chosing the Omni VII over the K3 is the capability for a remote tuning knob.
