I run my mike gain at 50 and the H/W MIC Gain at 6.0 DB with the 708 mike. 
I have a 705 mike for the Jupiter but don't have an adapter handy for the 
Orion II.  I have used the 708 on the Jupiter satisfactorily.  I have 
another 708 for the Omni VII, I can switch with no adjustments necessary.
