I followed the steps.
I kept speaking into the mic and turned down the power drive on the OMNI VI
Plus until the OVERDRIVE led on the Hercules II stopped popping on. That point
was 300 watts out on SSB. This situation only happens on SSB not on CW. These
are the only two modes I use. I want to know if this is normal? L-7 TR-7
combo never did this. the old 3-500Zs sure took a good pounding from me.
