I have a Jupter, pre blue screen, that I purchased from Ten Tec used in October of 2007. I am not too technical a HAM so please no freakazoid terms in your answer. Why is the Jupiter so quiet on receive? I am not attempting to start a "My radio is better than your radio" argument. I can compare it personally to a Kenwood TS-480SAT and a Yaesu 817 and they are two noisy radios compared to my Jupiter. WHY? Thanks so much, Jim C KC2ROF _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
