For 17 M operation, I set my Centurion Band Switch to 15, and the Tune knob to 2, and the Load knob to 8. These last two numbers are found on the Model 422 Tuning Chart on Page 2-7 of the Manual. I do not think the manual expressly states where to put the Band Switch, but I use the one closest to 17 M, which is the 15 M position.
