Actually in those days most of the tuner companies were still quoting "Input
Power".
So a 2KW tuner would be called a 1KW tuner today (Output Power).

The spec sheet says 2 KW. Looking at the internal components they are
quite hefty and I would have no problem running power through it.
My friend has the same tuner and runs at least 1200 watts through it on
a consisent basis.
