Ten Tec Corsair I For Sale
This Corsair is functional but has one known issue when selecting
filters. When in CW mode, the RX is dead when in the third position.
There is an issue with the switch (it is not a filter issue). The fix is
to switch to position 2 which has an Inrad 400hz filter in it. The third
position is the wide position when the 2.4 khz filter is in use. In
sideband, the 3rd position works but position 2 does not work. The first
position does work.
This is a decent radio despite the above condition. In addition, there
is a RX antenna mod that takes advantage of the pre-drilled hole
provided on all Corsairs. It works just like RX antenna inputs do for
most ICOM radios with a simple loop connected with a jumper. You will
need a DPDT switch of your own to take advantage of this.
No manual, mic or power cord. Sale only includes the radio and the Inrad
filter.
