I use one on my Orion 2 - just as a precaution. Not sure I needed it, but
fan was cheaper than replacement output transistors! It adds about an inch
to the front to back length.

needed about %99 of the time, but if I contest with them I like to keep them

Those of you that run Orions, do you use a fan on the heat sink? Do you feel
that one is necessary? It does make the front to back length greater and in
my case I do not have a lot of extra room in back of the rig.
