I was just going to sit down and start an email saying all was good and that the new fuses did the trick . I thought better of the idea and figured I would test the amp out first So I hit the on button and waited for the red light to go out indicating that the tubes were warm . I hit the operate standby switch to operate put the multi switch to E-plate looking for current and there was none 5 seconds went by with no power applied to the amp from the exciter and Poof smoke coming out of the stacks . Looks like it will be going back to the mother ship for some repair . At least I have two new tubes waiting in the wings . thanks for all the comments and help .
