A few weeks back I posted a query as to how one might parallel two
Astron RS50M power supplies to power a Hercules II.

Actually, the Herc II is wired to accept two power supplies at the Molex connector, each wired to half of the Herc II's output modules. I chose to use a pair of RS70 Astrons, wiring one RS70 to each half of the Herc II. The RS70s have a voltage sense terminal, and I wired them together. It should be noted that the number 50 in Astron model number is NOT the current rating in amps. I'm not looking at the manual or spec sheet, but the current rating is about 25% lower. A pair of RS70s is a much closer match to the Herc II. They're also pretty heavy, and they cost more. :)
