Both Agilent and Tektronix are supplying the entry scope market with import scopes that are quite good. Even an 8 bit A/D scope can be quite useful for the majority of needs. And, because industry and academia are preoccupied with the desire to "go digital", great bargains are available to hams on analog scopes, which are in some ways easier to use for the casual scope operator. For example, I was able to hand pick a Japanese scope model from a lot of scopes surplused by a technical school who were converting to digital scopes for the class room. -Stuart Rohre K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
