Bob -

The Pegasus does not switch the power supply. The power supply is on at all times. The ON/OFF switch on the front of the Pegasus is a two wire connector labeled "1" that goes to the DC input board that holds the relay.

I tried the Pegasus with two different power supplies, one switcher and one linear. It does not work on them, but does work off a battery. I'm confused.

Thanks for the suggestion.

By chance is the AC supply switched by the power switch on the Pegasus?
If so there 4 wires on the power cable, 2 for DC and 2 for the AC
switching line. If the switch in the radio that controls the AC line is
defective then the power supply will not turn on, therefore the radio
will not turn on. Clue is that it works on the 12V battery says the
relay and circuit in the radio is OK.

Through various misadventures, the DC input relay on my Pegasus will not
engage when power is applied, mostly.

I suspect the two transistors or the one diode near the relay coil.
Perhaps this symptom would give one of you a clue to the component(s) I
should replace.

The DC input relay will not trip and power up the Pegasus using a
regular station 12v power supply. It will trip and power the Pegasus if
I use a battery for the 12v. I am guessing a grounding issue here,
somehow.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
