Bob and all -

The connection for DC is to an adapter I built to go from Molex to power
poles. The battery and the power supply both plugged into the same
power poles. Since the battery worked and power supplies with their
individual power poles didn't, I passed on bad connections.

The DC input board on the back of the Pegasus is pretty easy to access.
With a few contortions it can be moved just outside the chassis case.
Since the symptom was at the relay, I started replacing active
components in that area. I planned to replace the diode across the coil
and the three transistors on the board. The diode was easy. The
transistors were more difficult. The hard part was getting the old one
out. I started with the one closest to the relay. After replacing that
I didn't look forward to the next two, so I thought I would see if what
I had completed so far made any difference. It did. The Pegasus now
fires up on the power supplies.

I suppose someone with an EE could tell me why I worked with a battery,
but not the power supply. It's all a mystery to me. But, I'm back in
business so all is well.

Thanks to all for the input.
