HOW DO ANY OF YOU GUYS KNOW WHETHER J.H. HAS FIXED THAT PROBLEM OR NOT?
If you haven't noticed, Ten-Tec, like every other company, does not release
new firmware "one bug fix at a time." Perhaps J.H. has long sense fixed the
problem and it will be in the next release, which includes bug fixes that
aren't ready yet.
I understand blaming Ten-Tec, but I find it extremely bad taste to blame one
particular engineer who most likely cannot fully control the priority list
he works on. I'm sure other engineers and marketing have a say in the
priority list he follows.
SHAME ON YOU GUYS!
BTW, I'm still waiting to have the NR fixed in my Eagle.
And if it never gets fixed, it's still my favorite rig for my type of
operations at this point in my life.

Subject: Re: [TenTec] TEN-TEC announces new amplifier
I wonder who else is getting tired hearing about new products when Ten Tec
still hasn't finished the simple things on their old products. John Henry
told me at the Orlando Hamcation that it was an easy fix to correct the
display offset problem for LSB on the Orion 2. Wow! That was 6 months ago
and it still isn't fixed. Unbelievable.
I'd love to consider another TT product but putting up with this lack of
support is very, very frustrating.
Anyone else feel this way?
