I used that headset for awhile with my Omni VII and used the default
audio settings - i.e., no EQ at all with splendid results on both send
and receive and nearly all my work is SSB... still... I cannot yet hear
the long CW letters, but that is because I don't practice every day...
but I digress... you may want to have a friend listen to you on his
receiver, and advise if you can improve your sending audio with a little
EQ in the rig. I do employ the bass roll-off feature - and set that to
cut it a 200 Hz, which gives the middle frequencies a bit more punch.
Whether or not you want to add in a little EQ should be determined by an
on air test. I make recordings of my local friends and they can hear
for themselves how they sound on my rig, so maybe one of your friends
can do that and you be the judge.

The earphone receivers and mic are fairly un-colored and "flat" so I
think TT picked a good set of components for it.

Just MY take...
