If Rick doessn't do it, I will. It is easy to make inexpensive open wire lines
with 1/2" flexible PVC (about $20 for 100 ft. at Home Depot) for the spacers
that it or window line should be on any antenna connected to a tuner. Certainly
not coax. The correct place for a tuner in a coax fed antenna is at the antenna
feedpoint, and ONLY AT THE ANTENNA FEED POINT!!!
Yes, I am hardheaded about that.
However, I respect your right to your own opinion and system layout

Oh... Geeze... PU-LEEEZE... don't get Rick
started on the virtues of open feed line !!!
He is a super big fan of open feed line -
especially on multi-band antennas. If he
gets going on that, we will be here all day !!!
(Although I concede he presents a good case.)
