Most certainly yes!

What you need is the Model 311 converter box that runs between the Orion and Herc II. That's all.

While I don't believe the 311 is available anymore, the schematic is floating around. Others have built the from scratch.

I have a Hercules II that is currently wired for remote use with my Omni
VI+.
Can the Hercules be used in remote mode with a Orion by changing the
plug to match the Orion's band data 15-pin plug or is the Orion
different than the Omni as the the band data it output?
I would like to use the Hercules on the second VFO/sub RX for S&Ping.
If it works Then I can keep my main amp tuned to my run freq.
