Barry, you're still a young kid (hi).
If I want to read useful information from a display, it needs to be at least
a 12" display or larger.
My bet is, I'm not the only Ten-Tec user with bad eyesight.
THEREFORE, why not just use an external display? A standard flatscreen.
One of the problems with old rigs seems to be that the displays become
unavailable.
If the display was kept simple and the extras were fed out a vga or hdmi
port, then there would be more long-term security.

The form factor of the K3 limits it to a very small display, my main
objection. An Orion-size display is a huge advantage.
