They did. It is in the Argonaut VI. The faster one spins the VFO knob the system accelerates the rate of change.

I wish TT would implement something along the lines of the PIEXX board in my old TS-930S. It dynamically adjusts the step size based on how fast the tuning knob is spun. Fast = bigger step size, while slow = smaller step size.
