The AH-4 actually matches just about anything as long as it is longer than
7M, the longer the better, but not an even 1/4 wl. There is a spreadsheet
of "forbidden lengths" available in the Yahoo Groups files section.

I intend to run the Omni VI+ on a dummy load today, on every band, but I
saw nothing that made me think the match was a problem. I can imagine
seeing a bad load would "fold back" power but there was nothing to fold.

The 706 matched up just fine, same antenna, same feed line, same tuner,
same connector, etc.

I'll report back if anything develops.
