It's not only that one needs to run DOS but the processor speed has to be
low. Most modern computers are WAYYYYY too fast and the MoSlow program will
not work on most modern fast computers.

Actually just about any brand new business laptop from Dell or Lenovo has
a true serial port and you can always boot dos from a floppy.

That's why I still have an old one with W-95. Many older Motorola radios
can not be programmed with modern computers.
They require true serial ports with slow processors and it becomes
becomes harder and harder to find old B&W LCD Laptops that run with true
DOS.
