I have never done anything with the HA-14.

I bought it many years ago while visiting the states.
Had the matching A.C. P.S.
But when I got to the airport my bags were overweight.
They wanted $200 for another bag plus I would have needed to buy a suit
case.
So I threw the P.S. in the Garbage can at the airport.
I carried the HA-14 in my hand baggage.

I found a used home-brew supply here in DL and bought it cheap.
It was almost a basket job.
That's OK, I just wanted the transformer.
I've built several HV power supplies back in the days when I home-brewed
several amps.
Long ago but I haven't forgotten how. (hi)

I think the HA-14 will make a good mate for the Eagle when my XYL one day
promotes me to the nursing home. Each year I say, "next year I'll rebuild
that P.S.".
Of course it will get new caps.

Also, I believe Mike has a kit including PC board to rebuild the P.S.
Maybe I'll just buy it from him.

But those are winter projects.
Right now it's time to build antennas again.

Rick....Not sure I talked to you about this or not, but ...Your HA-14
amp...have you replaced the filter caps in the power supply?
