Rick,Those W5KA FD loops, were horizontal plane loops, straight legs run from support to support. Supports varied from tower section, to slip up mast to out of service wood utility pole(s). They were based on L. B. (W4RNL) Cebik's modeling paper called "Horizontal Oriented, Horizontal Polarized Loops" from the Cebik web, www.cebik.com 73.
