You might check with the guys in Sevierville, but I don't think the updates
will work with anythingBUT a Windows PC.  I use Linux as my main computer but I
keep a PC around for what you aretaking about.

Subject: [TenTec] Using a Mac to install OMNI VII firmware

I have just purchased an OMNI VII and will be updating the firmware. I would
prefer to use my Mac computer rather than a PC for this. I have a serial to USB
adapter which should work to connect the OMNI to the Mac (or PC for that
matter.) Any guidance would be appreciated.

I may also want to operate the OMNI remotely using a Mac rather than a PC.
Again any advice would be appreciated.
