An update…..went thru the usual when going from barefoot to an amp….connectors,
coax check, chokes, grounding, etc.
Got it relatively tamed…but I also notice that when using the mic switch on any
mic will cause the agc light to come on when switching from transmit to receive.
That will cause the amp to go into fault mode on 160.
If I use an external ptt switch using the aux cable, this does not occur.
I swapped out the Orion for my Omni 7 this am and this problem does not occur.
Pin 1 problem? guess could call TT in a few days and see what they say.
