Another shot in the dark:  The Tcxo adjustment trimmer. When I was aligning my 
O2 I noticed that the trimmer on the Tcxo was very sensitive and wanted to jump 
around a lot. There is an alignment procedure somewhere that describes how to 
get the Tcxo back on frequency.
