There is an internal RF POWER pot (1K, R6) that is accessible via the hole in
the bottom of the Scout   This pot adjusts RF output power.
Possibly the slider contact within this pot has become jntermittent, causing no
output power.   Maybe rotate the pot several times to see if that solves the
problem.  If not, perhaps leave the pot in a lower power position until you
finish trouble shooting.

I assume key down still produces a CW sidetone.

Hey all - new guy with little electronics xp hoping to find a solution for a
Scout that won't tx. Happened suddenly - simply no output out of the blue. Have
tried multiple power sources, antennas and band modules - same across the board.
Read something about bypassing finals to narrow down possible issues, but
instructions weren't very clear to someone who is new to hardware issue
diagnosis.

Any ideas welcome!
