My best Hi-pass filter came from an article in the ARRL Handbook - 1985 page 30-32,

The series resonance can be adjusted to help null nearby stations in various parts of the BC band.

One caveat is that this filter has limited rejection (only 10 to 15dB) at the high end of the BC band:


That was indeed my experience and the Dunestar filter did a better job at the BCB high end.
