But it does seem that reasonably careful winding with decent 
enameled wire should not be a problem. 

But I have another question for you, Tom. #73 is pretty lossy, 
whereas #43 is a lot less so. It isn't clear from the post what the 
application is. If transmitting, I would certainly be concerned. 
What about for receiving?
