Today, Jan 04,2004, I worked W3GH at 1935Z ( 1:35PM Local time ) on 1835kHz. The signals were peaking 579 both ways. There was very slow QSB to S0. I was running my FT1000 at 200watts to a shunt fed 80ft tower with a Telrex 20M546 on top. I did not have time for my linear to warm up ( Alpha 77DX ). W3GH is about 600 miles due east of my QTH near St. Louis, MO. 73.....Price W0RI _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
