Lotsa fun today around 1:00 EST. on 1830 KHz plus or minus 2 KHz. Worked W3GH (599 both ways), VE3MGY, K9LA, and best of all, K8EJ in TN. with 559/559, solid copy. Using his lat and long from Buckmaster, and DX Atlas, I calculate the distance as 1270 km. My QTH is nr Almonte, ON, just west of Ottawa. I was running an Alpha 87 to a 3 el. vertical parasitic array.
