Vertical antenna...over salt water...a well known combination for DXpedition
success on most frequencies... so even fishing buoys at 8W they will get
excellent coverage.

Yes, K1DT sent me a link to a supplier of these beacons to the fishing

amazed that they are as a strong as they are given the short antennas
and low power. It says a lot for working QRP on 160M.
