Topband: Open coil traps?

I've been looking for info on trap construction for a trap dipole that
doesn't use coiled coax construction. I haven't had a lot of success.

Are there issues (other than cost) with coil/capacitor construction that I
should be aware of in constructing an out-of-band trap?

Pointers to implementations welcomed.

The antenna planned is an 80/40 dipole with center 75-100ft high and ends
around 60ft.
