Just a short comment here on the bow and arrow routine, which is what
I use...If the arrow ever gets stuck in a tree, be very careful when
you try to pull it out. I use fairly light line ( and then follow that
up with heavier string ), BUT, I am still reminded of the day an arrow
caught, and sez I, I can pull this thing free...Soooooo, I begin to
apply much pressure on the line....About the time my mind read through
its memory on physics is about the time the arrow came loose...and the
physics is that it will follow the return path, which happened to be
my right hand...I always use a screw bolt or whatever instead of a
real arrow head, but that sucker came screaming back at me, and did
manage to imbed the bolt head in my right wrist....if it had been a
real head, it would have gone right through my wrist, or consider the
possibility that the thing might hit you in the chest. Arrows are
cheap....Chest surgery is not, plus, I'd rather not try to explain to
the Doctor how I managed to shoot myself...
