I use the Cushcraft rubber booties for all outside coax joints. They must be slightly cut bigger on the small end to fit over RG-8, but with a little dab of Coax seal at both ends, u hv a great water tight seal. Purchase from AES or Cushcraft direct. I bought thirty the last time from Cushcraft.
