Hi,
The problem of the drill bit sliding off the tubing can probably
be solved by using the Black & Decker "Bullet"tm Drill bits. These bits
have a special point which is designed to prevent the bit from wandering
when you first begin to drill. I have used them for several years now
and have had great success with them. I also have yet to wear one of
these bits out.
