Just my 2 cents worth.

I have a TH7 and a C3. The Th7 is at 50 feet and the C3 is at 80. They are
separated by about 100 feet. In every instance the C3 has been the better
antenna. This applies to noise and signal levels. Like it or not. I am a
contester and believe me these things are important to me.

When I read the specs on the C3 I was skeptical. I had a hard time
believing that this small antenna would be better than a Th7. I took the
time to ask around and read Tom's book Array of Light to get an idea of
where he was coming from. So far I have no reason to doubt his figures. I
plan on stacking a 2nd C3 at 50 feet this summer. I am sold on the trapless
designs. The C3 is much lighter and has much less windload then the TH7.

Does the TH7 work? Sure it does. I would probably be able to work every
station with the TH7 that I could with the C3. Would I buy another TH7 not
a chance.

Not too long ago people were convinced the Earth was flat.

I am no way related to Force 12 and offer this as my opinion only.
