Hi Steve,

I don't expect you to accept this answer from me since you know I am not a
PE, but here goes anyway:

Now that HyGain has given us new antenna area figures and Roger has told us
they are Projected Areas without regard to the fact they are made of round
members (tubing), my answer is that you can now use these new HyGain areas
with the larger Rohn numbers in the oval.

Now what we need to do is get the rest of the antenna manufacturers to
specify thier areas the same way HyGain does, and get the rest of the tower
manufacturers to specify their tower capability the same way Rohn does.
That would be REAL progress.
