"Not only is my bride a great antenna construction groundman, ahhh...ground
person, but a superior go-fer as well. She has been my field day class 1B
partner too. She's KE4CXI."
And I might add she is very nice, too....
.....there are lot of great XYL's out there....mine has not expressed
interest in becoming a ham, but the moment she does I will drop everything
else to encourage her.....you see, as it stands now she puts up with untold
hours of computer amateur radio reflector related time, contest weekends
and who knows how many hours of tower and antenna time each year. She is
extremely supportive of my indulgences and I am very appreciative of that.
Whenever possible I try to be as supportive of her interests because they
are what gives her pleasure the same way ham radio does it for me.
Some of us just get lucky....of course my having a Mom being a ham helps
make sure that she understands my priorities are indeed structured :-)
