I have seen the bases of towers (Rohn 25, 45, 55, etc.) placed underground,
with about 6 inches of soil on top of the concrete.  Then corrosion starts
around each leg after the zinc galvanizing gets eaten off.

Has anyone successfully used zinc anodes on each leg to protect them?
