I am not sure of the time frame during which Lee had problems. I apologize
that Lee had a bad experience with Cushcraft. However, we have more
satisfied customers than dissatisfied and I don't personally believe that
any company has "no problems". In any event, if the word is "spreading" on
Towertalk, then I think it only fair that Cushcraft have an opportunity to
respond.

I started monitoring Towertalk a few months ago, getting involved in a
couple of technical discussions. I generally let the discussions about the
use of our products pass by because I don't want to interject our "biased"
opinions. However, I will respond to general comments like Lee's.

Cushcraft Corporation is committed to continue to be one of the significant
manufacturers of amateur radio antennas. We are also committed to
providing quality products to all of our customers. Since becoming
President in August of 1997, our organization has and continues to undergo
a lot of positive changes. Our engineering department is in fact
evaluating all of the stainless steel hardware used in our amateur
antennas. We are also in the midst of a general engineering and
manufacturing process improvement program. We will live up to our quality
commitment. Over the past few months we have implemented our new web page
and our new customer support program (our e-mail problems have been fixed
with the installation of a new e-mail server). Change takes time.

If anyone has an issue with customer support I will respond to personal
e-mails (sbest@cushcraft.com).
