Actually, there's no such thing as a "DSL line". DSL is just a multiplexed
signal riding on the copper of your existing phone line. So the best
protection you can come up with for your phone line modem is also the best
protection for your DSL modem. Lightning will get them both if near enough.
A good quality phone line surge protector is about the best I know of. The
gas protector in your network interface might help, but it might not. Keep
in mind that replacement DSL modems are only $99 each, so a $200 Polyphaser
surge protector might be false economy here. :-)
