Ideco-Dresser made several 1,200' self supporters, most survive
today, they were put "in city's" on smaller lots than guyed towers.
(several blocks square) These are black steel, not galvanized, just
painted over and over . . .
It takes between 30 and 40 acres to guy a 1,000. foot tower, unless
you don't care how much abuse it will take and short guy it.
75 to 80% of height to distance from the tower is about normal,
any more seems to be a waste.
The farther out a guy is, the more sideways the tensions pull against
the guy anchors and the heavier weight of the cables, loading the tower
more.
Short guying causes the wind forces to pull more straight up on the guy
anchor and the heavier they need to be, if in a soft earth.

I upgraded to LINUX, the more I use it, the more I love it.
It doesn't do everything for you, you must program it.
