Just to add a little more to the NEC info, most of the NEC codes do have basis as far as safe installations. To follow some of them for that reason makes good logic. I think there are probably many more countries around the world with similiar construction codes. I think the NEC codes regarding cables in elevator shafts obviously has to do with elevator car passenger safety in some way. 73 Jim KI7Y |
