I use #18 nylon seine twine on my 40m inverted vee and 80m 1/4-wave
half-sloper.  The twine has a lifetime of about six or seven years.  Even
after a number of years, the knots are still unknotable.  It's strong,
cheap, available (Home Depot or equivalent) and comes in 225 ft roll,
leaving plenty for other jobs.
