not sure if this was suggested, but...
Just finished the wiring of my tower... I used a 65' home depot fish tape
stuck into one end of my 60foot 2 inch conduit from the base of my tower
into my new house foundation and straight into my hamshack. I used one of
those little steel nets that grabs wire (wire handcuff..) this arrangement
can grab four LMR-400 cables and a peice of thick phillistrand to bring the
fish tape back for a second pull. I used that wire pulling grease cause the
jacket of the LMR is quite sticky... I could pull a tree through a 2"
conduit with that arrangement..!!! The fish tape is really a thick steel
wire with a hook at the end. It worked flawelessly... except, of course,
that I was 3 feet short on my rotor control cable..!!!
Happy to photograph

I use old telephone drop wire. The vulcanized two conductor, black stuff
that goes from the pole to the house. This stuff will pull the horns off a
"billygoat". And it's free. Most telephone companies will give you the stuff
out of their scrap pile.....or contact your local telephone man. They
usually have some in the truck....Tom N4RS
