Cat5e is a really bad choice for rotor cable.
The conductors are very small, 26ga or smaller depending on the quality of the cable, they are solid copper and will break if you look at them the wrong way. I'm also sure the jacket on standard Cat5e isn't rated for outdoor use and will deteriorate rapidly in the UV and weather.
